I have a pair of adult BOGS with handles and just love them. I grew up in England wearing the traditional plain ‘wellie” and we played summer and winter using them as our preferred footwear. As an adult I finally found BOGS and they are the most comfortable boot/shoe I own. They are almost like slippers being so convenient to slip into. I’m shopping here for my two boys as BOGS are the most practical, fun, go everywhere boot. The insulation and cushioning is really what make these different and so much more enjoyable. I can’t wait to try them in the snow after my Columbia snow boot split last year. (I always had to wear gators with a low boot too) If you need your kids to have a fast pull-on insulated boot for play or general wear, BOGS are the way to go.

 oily residue on boots,

Purchased these boots for my son. They appear to be a nice boot. I think they will stand up to wet, slushy weather. Unfortunately, the boots seemed to be covered in an oily residue when they came out of the box. This made them very difficult to try on. I now have oily footprints all over my kitchen floor. We took a chance and had my son wear them outside to get the oil off as they were his usual size and we assumed they would fit. Unfortunatey about half way down the street, it became obvious that the boots are actually pretty snug and my son will probably will not get more than a couple of months out of them. If he could have walked around in the boots a little more inside the house, we might have caught the mistake and exchanged for a bigger size, but they have already been outside so I guess we are stuck with them.

I would never buy any other snow boots for my children or myself. This is the best kids product. My almost two year old walks well in them and they keep his feet warm! My six year old daughter also has a pair. Don’t think twice, buy them! |
